"If there was a Perfect Patient, You'd be It!" Yea.. that's what the doctor told me today. AFTER he took all the stitches out. The bruising is fading, the incision is healing beautifully, the fluid in the ear is clear and the blood is draining.... everything you want to see.

I wish I could have taken a picture of the tv screen when they were looking inside the ear, because that was awesome. I have been saying there is a wicked bruise inside there, and I can feel it everytime I clean my ear. I saw it today, and it looks like I was in a fight with Mike Tyson. VIcious. But awesome.
The best part of all of this is there is no ringing in my ear. I can't judge much of the headaches yet, since I am still feeling some of the surgery aftermath. My the ringing. Its gone. AND the doc said it is totally normal to not have my hearing back yet. It could take 4-6 weeks to get that back since there is still fluid and swelling from surgery that has to heal, and my middle ear has to adjust to not having all the "noise" there all the time. He is completely confident that I will regain most of the hearing I had lost.
PERFECT. PATIENT.
He has already started writing the case study on me. I'm that Awesome. :)
